In a remote corner of the French countryside, far beyond the beaten track and modern maps, stood a singular windmill known as the Moulin du Temps Perdu . Surrounded by thick fog and wild fields, the mill looked as if it had been abandoned for centuries. Its great wooden sails, creaking gently in the wind, turned despite the absence of any visible draft.
Residents of the nearby villages told intriguing stories about it. They said the mill was not just a building, but a mystical portal that imprisoned time itself. Those who ventured inside could lose themselves in forgotten memories, relive happy or painful moments, or even glimpse fragments of an uncertain future. But there was a price to pay: it was whispered that every minute spent in the mill was stolen from real life.
One day, a young clockmaker named Arthur, obsessed with time and how to control it, decided to explore this mysterious mill. He wanted to understand its secrets, believing he could undo past mistakes or slow down the days that were slipping away from him. When he stepped through the creaking door, he was immediately enveloped by a golden light and thousands of clocks suspended in the air, ticking to different rhythms.
Arthur relived the fondest memories of his childhood and confronted the regrets that haunted him. But the further he traveled through the winding paths of the mill, the more he realized that every moment he relived erased a part of his present. When he finally reached the heart of the mill, a giant hourglass slowly turned over its grains of sand, and Arthur understood that time, once lost, could never be fully regained.
Consumed by melancholy and fascination, Arthur sat by the hourglass, letting the mill spin around him for eternity.
